Fighting Shields
An innovative, non- ballistic protective shield for the forearm, the Impactor is ideal for First Responders in sensitive environments (hospitals, schools), Corrections officers and for private security personnel.
It offers protection in both defensive and counter strike situations and is excellent for blocking, front jab, middle block or rear jab techniques to subdue and control suspects in many scenarios.
Lightweight, Ambidextrous and Strong:
Works effectively with defensive baton techniques and/or OC spray. The Model 5500 Impactor is perfect in compact and close – quarter settings or when de- escalation of force is warranted for uncontrollable or combative subjects. It is constructed of a non- ballistic, reinforced polycarbonate for increased impact resistance and tensile strength that will not warp or crack. It connects to the arm via adjustable, padded arm straps that help to absorb and dissipate impact.
- Allows the use of OC Spray (Defense Technology® MK-3 or MK-4) in conjunction with blocking techniques
- Control slot for baton or for trapping suspect’s wrist or forearm
